Jenna Marotta interviews celebrities for New York magazine’s Party Lines page and writes for their blogs (Vulture, Daily Intelligencer, Grub Street, The Cut, and Bedford+Bowery). She has done freelance editing work for Playboy and contributed to Cosmopolitan, Time Out New YorkTime Out Chicago (RIP), Chicago magazine, The Daily Beast, Jezebel, The A.V. Club Chicago (RIP). Her reporting has been picked up by Vanity Fair and The New York Times.

Although Jenna wants to write the next To Kill a Mockingbird, but she’d settle for the next “Dick in a Box.” Her parents named her after Jenna Wade, Priscilla Presley’s character on Dallas; she shares a birthday with LeVar Burton, Sonny Bono, and the late Kim Jong-il. She has never visited Disney World or Disney Land (let alone memorized which is which), but she has seen Sesame Place, Nova Scotia and the gate in front of Michael Jordan’s house. She owns a Trailer Trash Barbie and has given “socially deviant metal art.”
